Dennis Daniel Murphy
August 9, 1934 - November 12, 2017

The Celebration of Life for Dennis is scheduled for Sunday, December 3, 2017 1:00 - 4:00 pm, at Jenkins Estate, 8005 SW Grabhorn Road, Beaverton Oregon. The Rice Museum of Rocks and Minerals, 26385 NW Groveland Drive, Hillsboro, Oregon will be open from 10:00 - 5:00 pm. You are welcome to visit the museum to see the Dennis & Mary Murphy's Gallery that day. Should you desire, donations to the museum in Dennis' honor would be appreciated.

The astonishing petrified wood collection contains over 460 worldwide specimens collected by Dennis and Mary Murphy over 40 years and is a permanent display at the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals. The collection is among the nation's finest exhibits of petrified wood, and includes cases of cross-cut slices, full rounds, and tall tree trunks of petrified wood.
